One day, my friend asked me for an old hanger I was planning to throw away. Although surprised by his request, I agreed and asked why he needed it, since it was broken.
He didn’t explain but invited me to dinner at his place, saying everything would become clear by the end of the evening.
When I arrived at his house, I felt like I was stepping into a contemporary art gallery.
I stood amazed, observing the original and refined interior, where every item, from the chairs to the lamps, was made from discarded hangers. Astonished, I couldn’t resist and took a few photos. Prepare to be surprised
The walls were decorated with new panels made of metal hooks and recycled wood elements.
In one corner, a coffee table with twisted legs was made from several plastic hangers put together.
The chandelier hanging above the table was similarly crafted from interwoven metal hangers, creating a fascinating play of light and shadows.
I couldn’t help but take pictures, as the beauty of these objects moved me.
Everything was so elegant and skillfully done that I didn’t immediately realize that these elements were actually recycled objects that most people would have thrown away without a second thought.
Seeing my astonishment, my friend smiled and said:
— You see, even old things can become something beautiful.
The secret is imagination and a little patience.
I shook my head, realizing that I still had a lot to learn from him.
Maybe next time, before throwing something away, I’ll try to create something new.
