Mayra Lizbet Rosales, Mexican by birth, was once considered one of the heaviest women in the world. At one point, her weight reached a record 500 kilograms – half a ton.

According to Mayra herself, these frightening numbers were not due to a rare disease, but to her love for fast food and uncontrolled consumption in huge quantities.

Surprisingly, Mayra was married. Her husband not only failed to stop her from going down this dangerous path, but also brought her a new portion of food every day, as if encouraging her bad habits.

However, one day, Mayra had a realization: she understood that this could not go on.

She decided to radically change her life. She underwent several procedures: removal of excess fat and skin, as well as gastric surgery. After that, she lost more than 200 kilograms.

Fast food disappeared from her life for good. With the weight loss, Mayra regained the ability to be physically active.

Step by step, by changing her lifestyle and overcoming challenges, she managed to reach a weight of 92 kilograms. It’s simply incredible when you remember that just eight years ago, her body weighed five times as much.

She divorced her husband, but they managed to maintain a friendly relationship. Today, Mayra is a fulfilled, confident, beautiful woman and, above all, healthy.

And what’s most surprising: even when she weighed half a ton, all her organs and internal systems continued to function, despite the extreme burden.
