The parents noticed that the flowers were disappearing from their son’s grave, and new ones were appearing in their place: they decided to install a camera — and saw something horrifying 

The elderly parents visited the cemetery every day, tending to the grave of their 17-year-old son. They cared for it with love — bringing fresh flowers, carefully sweeping the path, and lighting candles.

But soon, they noticed something strange. The flowers they left kept disappearing. In their place appeared other bouquets — completely different ones, fresh, beautifully arranged, with small unsigned notes.

At first, they thought it was a mistake. Maybe someone had confused the graves? But when it started happening day after day, their unease grew unbearable.

Every morning they arrived earlier, hoping to catch the mysterious visitor. But in vain — they never saw anyone.

During his lifetime, their son had almost no friends. He was a quiet, introverted boy who spent most of his time at home, in front of the computer. The parents simply couldn’t imagine who would care so much about keeping his memory alive.

Finally, the father decided to install a small hidden camera — carefully concealed among the flowers so that it wouldn’t be noticed.

The next day, they watched the recording. What they saw left them in complete shock.  (Continuation in the first comment )

On the screen appeared a young woman — slender, with long hair and a dark jacket. She walked up to the grave, gently removed the old flowers, wiped the dust off the tombstone, and placed a new bouquet.

Then she crouched down and stared for a long time at the boy’s photograph, her trembling fingers softly touching the glass.

She was crying. Whispering words the camera barely managed to capture:

— I miss you… I miss you so much…

The parents were deeply moved. They had never seen this girl before.

A few days later, after gathering their courage, they decided to wait for her at the grave. And when she appeared again, holding flowers in her hands, the mother approached her. The girl was startled but didn’t run away.

— Are you… his parents? she asked softly.

— Yes… and you… who are you, dear?

The girl lowered her eyes.

— I was his girlfriend. We were together for almost a year. He asked me not to tell you — he was afraid you wouldn’t approve.

She told them how they used to go on walks together, dream about studying at the same university, and how he gave her daisies — the very flowers she now brought to his grave.

The parents listened with tears in their eyes. They realized they had never known the most important thing — that their son had loved, and that in his short life, he had experienced tenderness and joy.
