The husband lied to his wife and went on vacation with his mistress, not even suspecting that she had long known about his affairs: he never expected such a surprise from his wife 

Arthur had been living in anticipation for weeks. He carefully planned his secret vacation with his young mistress: he chose a resort, booked a trip for two, and hid it in the car under a folder of documents. For his wife, he prepared a fake order for an allegedly urgent business trip.

In the evening, he came home looking tired.

— I have to leave on a work trip tomorrow, — he told his wife.

She simply nodded — in recent months, Arthur had become cold and irritable. But he was so confident in his lie that he didn’t even imagine his wife already knew everything.

She had been suspicious for a long time. Her intuition told her it wasn’t work — it was another woman.

But she had no proof — until that evening.

Late at night, when Arthur fell asleep, his wife quietly went down to the garage. She turned on a flashlight and searched the car. It took only a few minutes to find what she was looking for: a neatly folded vacation package for two, with the mistress’s name in the “second person” field.

She froze for a moment, truly shocked. Then she regained her breath. She went back upstairs and sat in silence in the kitchen for a long time.

She could have created a scene. She could have thrown his things out or called that girl.

She took a bag of flour and carefully divided it into several small transparent zip bags. They looked very suspicious — enough to raise questions, but completely harmless.

She placed the bags between her husband’s clothes in his suitcase.

On the day of the trip, Arthur was in a great mood. His mistress walked beside him. He suspected nothing.

But when the suitcase went through the X-ray scanner, the alarm suddenly went off. The staff exchanged glances and approached Arthur:

— Sir, please come with us to a separate room.

The mistress tensed:

— What’s going on?

— Just a routine check, — one of the officers muttered.

Arthur calmly followed them — he was sure he had only swim trunks, shorts, and flip-flops in his luggage.

But when they put the suitcase in front of him and one of the workers pulled out several small bags of white powder, Arthur’s hands turned cold.

— What is this? — the security officer asked sternly.

— I… I don’t know! — Arthur stammered.

Hours of interrogation began. The same questions again and again. Documents checked. Experts called.

The mistress called him dozens of times, then stopped. Eventually, tired of waiting, she flew off alone.

After several painful hours, an expert entered the room.

— The powder has been tested. It’s… just regular flour.

The officers exchanged glances — now irritated.

— You may go, sir. But your flight has already departed.

Arthur left the room gripping his suitcase tightly. He tried calling his mistress — she no longer answered. He returned home completely shattered.

When he opened the door, his heart sank. No one was there. His wife had taken the children and left.
