One day, Carol Howarth, a resident of Haverfordwest, UK, parked her car to do some shopping. When she returned, she was stunned to find that her car had been invaded by hundreds of unexpected guests. Indeed, an entire swarm of bees had settled at the back of her vehicle.

Tom Moses, a local resident, witnessed the scene in surprise. He recalls, “It was quite a sight. I went over and saw that many people had already gathered to take photos. But I was a bit worried.

The car was right in front of a bar, and I feared that someone might do something foolish, like throw boiling water on the bees. That could have gone badly.” As a precaution, Tom contacted a group of bee experts, and thanks to them, the swarm was safely moved into a box.

However, the story didn’t end there. The next day, Carol realized that the bees had followed her car home. This time, she had to call beekeepers to figure out what was going on.

Roger Burns, one of the beekeepers, explained that the queen bee seemed to have been attracted by something sweet in the car, and had ended up trapped somewhere. The swarm, consisting of about 2,000 bees, followed her home.

The beekeepers managed to free the queen and set her back on her path. While it’s normal for bees to follow their queen, the experts found it strange that they followed a car for two consecutive days.
