Our closet was in terrible condition, but my brother decided to take on the challenge of making it useful again.

He first started by removing all the decorative parts: the mirror and the back panel.

Next, he replaced the shelf and removed the internal dividers.

The biggest challenge was cleaning the closet. Some areas were very damaged, with paint deeply embedded in the wood.

It took several days to clean the carvings and make the closet relatively clean.

Once that step was completed, he polished the wood to lighten its color.

In some areas, the paint was too deeply embedded to remove, so my brother decided to leave those parts as they were to preserve the closet’s authentic look.

To maintain a natural appearance, he chose a clear oil and wax, which gave it an elegant and modern touch.

After its transformation, the closet found new life and is now a true decorative asset in our home.
