In the yard of our relatives, we noticed this strange structure made of wooden sticks and ropes: but what is it?

We were visiting relatives in the village and noticed this strange structure made of regular sticks and ropes in their yard 😱 Honestly, we were a bit surprised, as we had never seen anything like it before 😲 When the owner explained what it was and what it was for, everyone was shocked 😱

Now I want to make something like this in our yard 🤔 Oh, what clever people live in villages 🥰 I’ll tell you what it is and how to build something like this in your own yard with your own hands 👇👇 Details in the link in the comments ⬇️⬇️

We recently returned from the village, where we visited relatives, and we were pleasantly surprised by their cucumber harvest. They have a real abundance garden!

Crisp, juicy, aromatic — and without much effort. After hearing their secret, we immediately decided to try this method at our place.

Now I’m going to share this village hack with you, which you can even apply on less fertile soil.

What you will need

Before you start, prepare the following:

  • Compost — preferably well-rotted, with a mild earthy smell;

  • Wood ash — a natural disinfectant and a source of trace elements;

  • Boiling water;

  • Cucumber seeds;

  • And just one tool — a shovel.

Preparing the garden bed

Choose a sunny spot. Dig an area about two meters long and 60–70 centimeters wide. Make the holes in a checkerboard pattern — with 60 cm between them.

This way, the plants will breathe freely, not interfering with each other and not shading their neighbors. It’s like in a theater — each cucumber has its own stage.

Adding fertilizers

If the soil is heavy, like clayey or loamy, you can’t do without fertilizing. In each hole, put a handful of compost, two tablespoons of ash, and some soil on top.

Mix everything well — this creates a nutrient for the future seedlings. Now, attention: pour boiling water over everything.

This disinfects the soil and destroys any potential pests. After the boiling water, let the holes rest for 5–10 minutes.

Sowing the seeds

Now, put 5–7 seeds in each hole — with a reserve, since not all of them may sprout. Cover them with soil. Don’t water! Excess moisture can harm them.

If the nights are still cold, pull plastic film over the bed — it creates a mini-greenhouse effect. In the morning, remove the cover.

Care and watering

It’s best to water in the evening, when the sun has already set. This way, the water won’t evaporate unnecessarily and will reach the roots. With this method, the first sprouts will appear within 6–7 days.
