Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki was electrocuted during a live performance. He tragically lost his life at the age of 35 while holding a wet fan in his arms during his show in Salinópolis, Brazil. This abnormal incident shocked the audience, and questions remain about the circumstances that led to the fan being wet.

An investigation is underway to clarify the facts, and Ayres’ family has chosen not to comment further until more information is known. His aunt, Rita Matos, mentioned that she and other family members are gathering statements from those present to accurately reconstruct the events.

The concert took place at Hotel Solar, which expressed its condolences and assured Ayres’ family of its full support. The hotel announced its complete commitment to cooperate with authorities to carry out a thorough investigation.

Outside of music, Ayres Sasaki was also a respected architect and urban planner. He leaves behind his young wife, Mariana, to whom he had been married for only 11 months, along with family and friends who are deeply affected by his loss.
