When the man learned that the doctors were giving his wife only three days to live, he leaned over her and whispered with a satisfied smile: “Finally, all your property will be mine”; but he had no idea what kind of revenge plan his “obedient” wife had prepared for him 😢😱

When Lia opened her eyes, she immediately felt her head spinning. She felt nothing but pain.

Voices echoed from the hallway. Lia recognized the muffled voice of the head doctor:

— Her condition is critical… Liver failure is progressing… Three days at most.

The second voice she recognized even through the wall. Her husband’s voice — Oliver.

Lia kept her eyes half-open to observe. The door opened.

Oliver walked in holding a bouquet of flowers, sat on the edge of the bed, and took Lia’s hand.

He stroked her wrist and leaned closer. He was certain his wife, under strong sedatives, couldn’t hear anything.

And then he whispered:

— Finally. I’ve waited so long for this. Your house, your accounts, your business… All of it will finally be mine.

He smiled — softly, almost tenderly. Lia understood: her husband had only ever wanted her money.

Oliver stood up, put on a mask of fake concern, and in the hallway said to the nurse:

— Please watch over her. I’m so worried… She’s my whole life.

Lia almost threw up from disgust. The door closed.

She opened her eyes fully. Her heart was pounding wildly.

Suddenly she heard water splashing and light footsteps in the hallway. Someone was mopping the floor. Lia gathered her strength and called out:

— Miss… please come here.

The door opened slightly. A young cleaning girl peeked in — thin, frightened, but attentive. Her badge said “Maria.”

— Yes? Are you feeling unwell? — she asked, ready to run for a doctor.

— No, — Lia whispered. — I need to ask you for something.

Maria stepped closer. Lia gripped her hand as firmly as her weakness allowed.

— Listen carefully. If you do everything I tell you… you will never have to work as a cleaner again. Ever.

Maria froze. Her eyes widened.

— What do I have to…?

Lia spoke softly but firmly. 😢😱 Continued in the first comment 👇👇

Lia dictated to her the address of the safe, the code, the list of documents, the lawyer’s name, and instructions on who to call and which recordings to take from the clinic’s surveillance archive.

Maria listened without interrupting. When Lia finished, the girl simply nodded:

— I’ll do everything. I promise.

Maria got to work immediately. By morning, everything was ready.

All documents for real estate, businesses, investment portfolios, and safe-deposit boxes had been transferred to a charitable foundation.

A small percentage of the foundation was registered in Maria’s name — large enough for her to leave heavy physical labor behind forever.

When Oliver returned to the clinic, he was ready for his performance. He entered the room, sat beside her, and took Lia’s hand.

— How are you feeling? — he whispered, voice trembling.

Lia looked at him as if all strength had left her body. Her voice was weak but clear:

— Oliver… I signed… some documents.

He froze.

— What… documents, darling?

Lia coughed weakly, as if gathering her thoughts.

— I transferred all my property to a charitable foundation. You will get nothing.

Oliver’s face twisted with rage.

— What have you done?! You… you had no right!

— You thought I was blind?…

He exploded:

— Undo it! Do you hear me?! Undo it! All of it is mine, and you can die for all I care!

— You always wanted me dead, Oliver. But it looks like now you’re the one who has lost everything.
