Instead of throwing away the old, unused crib, we decided to turn it into something interesting for the garden.
We took the headboard and footboard and placed them vertically – they became the side supports, the bottom of the crib was fixed between them to form the seat, and the mesh sides were attached at the back.
The result was fantastic.
I’ll show what we made from the crib in the first comment below.
Instead of throwing away an old crib that no longer served its purpose, we decided to give it a second life by turning it into a unique bench for our garden.
We took the parts of the crib, placed the headboard and footboard vertically, which formed the sides of the bench, and fixed the bottom of the crib between them to create the seat.
The mesh panels were used to create the backrest, providing comfortable support for the back. Once the assembly was complete, we sanded the wood, painted the bench white, and applied varnish to protect it from the elements. For extra comfort, we added a cushion given to us by a neighbor.
Today, our bench is under a tree in the garden and has become a favorite spot to relax.
It’s amazing to see how this old crib was transformed into a practical and decorative piece for our outdoor space.
