When we moved into our home, our kitchen looked like many others in standard residences. It consisted of a few salvaged pieces: wall cabinets, a sink cabinet, and a refrigerator placed near the window. With a limited budget, a full renovation was not feasible at the time. So, we used second-hand furniture: old drawers, cabinets, a table, and chairs. After saving for several years, we were finally able to update this space.
For the new layout, we chose kitchen furniture from Leroy. We relocated the fridge, which is now next to the kitchen entrance, and concealed the gas pipe in a cabinet near the window. Since we live on the top floor, the pipe is short and fits perfectly into a standard cabinet.
All the appliances were purchased at once, carefully selected to ensure they matched in style.
The kitchen is equipped with a glass gas cooktop featuring sturdy cast-iron grates, an electric ignition system, and gas safety control. We opted for an electric oven, which is more convenient for us, and a small but efficient range hood.
The dining table is from Ikea, and the chairs were ordered online. To visually expand the space, we chose light-colored walls and floors that matched the furniture. Bright colors and unnecessary decorations were deliberately avoided, creating a clean, refined, and warm atmosphere in the room.
