The airplane cabin was quickly filling up with passengers. People were storing their luggage, looking for their seats, greeting each other. One of the passengers — a man in a gray T-shirt — sat down on the aisle seat. He was large, making it uncomfortable for the person in the middle seat and partially blocking the aisle.
Some passengers exchanged glances, others whispered among themselves. A few minutes later, a flight attendant approached. Politely but firmly, she asked the man to step out of the cabin briefly to discuss seat arrangements. The atmosphere grew tense.

But the man remained calm. He stood up, turned to the other passengers, and said:
— I understand that my presence might cause discomfort. That’s exactly why I bought two seats next to each other, so I wouldn’t disturb anyone. It seems there was a mistake, and my second ticket was given to another passenger.
He showed his boarding passes to the flight attendant, who checked them, smiled, and thanked him for his understanding. Shortly afterward, the seat next to him was freed, and the man sat comfortably without bothering anyone.

Silence filled the cabin. The tension eased. A few people nodded respectfully. Someone whispered to their neighbor:
— That’s what respect looks like.
Sometimes, it’s attention and courtesy that make all the difference when traveling.
