When I carefully took the envelope from the dog, I felt the weight — and it wasn’t just a letter. Inside was a large bundle of money, neatly wrapped, and a small note: “Follow the instructions.”
At first, I didn’t know what to do. But knowing that in such situations it’s better not to act alone, I called the police.
When the officers arrived, everything became clear: the dog was being used as a “courier” for illegal operations — large sums of money were exchanged for prohibited goods, the cash hidden in packages, and the animal delivered them “safely.”
The police uncovered the scheme — the criminals thought no one would ever suspect a small dog on a deserted road.
The criminals were arrested, their operations stopped, and the dog was taken to a shelter where it is now safe and under constant care.
For me, that morning was a lesson I will never forget: sometimes even a simple walk or drive to work can lead to incredible discoveries, and a small animal can turn out to be a hero revealing a true intrigue.
