😦 During my last flight, a seven-year-old boy kept hitting my seat: nothing would calm him down, so here’s what I decided to do.

This happened on my last flight. After a long business trip, I was exhausted, and all I wanted was to get home and rest. Since it was a long flight, I was hoping I could sleep on the plane.

I had settled comfortably in my seat and was getting ready to doze off when I heard a little boy start talking. He was about seven years old and kept asking his mother questions. You probably know those moments when kids need to talk, no matter what about, even if their questions don’t really make any sense.

Normally, this wouldn’t bother me, but on that day, I was so tired that I couldn’t stand the noise. And it wasn’t just that: from time to time, he was hitting my seat. At first, it was a little tap, then it got louder and louder.

I really wasn’t in the mood to tolerate this. Despite my polite requests to his mother and the flight attendant’s interventions, he wouldn’t calm down. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Here’s what I did.

The rest of my story is in the first comment below 👇👇👇.

At my wit’s end, I thought of a subtle solution.

I observed the situation, trying to influence it indirectly.

I suddenly leaned back, spilling juice on the mother’s lap.

The scene caused an immediate commotion.

The mother, soaked, stood up shouting, and the boy, finally stopping his hits, found himself under his mother’s stern gaze.

He calmed down instantly.

The rest of the flight was almost entirely silent.

The boy didn’t bother me anymore.
