Charlie Kirk’s Wife’s Eerie Post Hours Before His Assassination Resurfaces

After her husband was murdered dead at the age of 31, Erika Lane Frantzve, the wife of controversial US activist Charlie Kirk, said something on social media that has caused people to view it in a different way.

On September 10, Frantzve was at the debate event at Utah Valley University with Kirk and their two young children when Kirk was shot dead by a lone gunshot from a nearby rooftop.

Kirk, who co-founded Turning Point when he was barely eighteen, was there at the debate with his group. The organization attempted to propagate conservative beliefs at US campuses that are traditionally liberal-leaning, and Kirk became a controversial figure as he debated with students on themes such as transgender identity, climate change and family values.

Kirk was shot in front of a crowd when he was standing beneath a white tent and speaking into a microphone, according to footage from the discussion.

Kirk had been a strong ally of Donald Trump, who later announced his passing in a post on Truth Social, calling him a “legendary.”

As the focus shifted to some of Kirk and his family’s last actions before the shooting, social media users noticed that Frantzve had posted a Bible passage before the assassination, which later became even more moving.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, she wrote at 12:45pm: “Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

It was known within hours that Kirk had died.

Socials media users have since flooded Frantzve with their condolences, with one person writing: “Jesus is holding you in his warm embrace. We are heartbroken.”

“The fact that you posted this before the event, is a testament of the Lord,” added another.

A third wrote: “Your husband is with Jesus. He was a hero and an inspiration. You will see him again, although I know that is no consolation to you and your precious babies right know. I’m so sorry that you are going through this. Evil is rampant in this country.”

After meeting Kirk three years prior, Frantzve, the 2012 Miss Arizona USA, married him in 2021.

In a 2022 Instagram post, Frantzve gushed over her husband as she wrote: “God knew all along, it was you. Charles James you are my today and all of my tomorrow’s. How blessed I am to have you as my husband and how honored I am to be your wife. May our marriage continue to glorify God. I love you endlessly.”

Two children were born to Frantzve and Kirk after their marriage: a male in May 2024 and a daughter in August 2022.
