When 30-year-old British actor and TV presenter James Lusted proposed to his beloved Chloe, he had to stand on a step ladder to look her in the eyes at the same level.

It wasn’t just a cute gesture – it became a symbol of their love that overcomes all obstacles.

James was born with achondroplasia – a form of congenital dwarfism. He is only 109 cm tall, while his wife Chloe is 166 cm tall.

The height difference never stood in the way of their relationship – on the contrary, it only highlighted how strong their bond is. However, when Chloe became pregnant, they couldn’t help but worry, since dwarfism can be inherited.

Although James and Chloe were ready to accept and love their child no matter what, just like any parents, they hoped for a healthy baby.

In April 2019, their daughter was born. The happy parents found out that their baby girl was completely healthy: she weighed 3.7 kg at birth and doctors found no signs of genetic disorders.

Now the little girl is growing up active, joyful, and full of life. She has already outgrown her father in height and seems to have inherited her mother’s tall stature. James proudly and with humor watches his daughter grow and thrive.

On June 2, 2021, James and Chloe were officially recognized in the Guinness World Records as the couple with the greatest height difference – 56.8 cm.
