The border services officer was used to curious looks from passengers, but he himself hardly ever took his eyes off his faithful partner — Zora, a German Shepherd with remarkable intelligence.
Zora was a legend among her colleagues. Three years of service, dozens of crimes solved, not a single mistake. And that day, everything started as usual… until the dog began behaving strangely.
She suddenly turned her head. Her attention was drawn to a young woman carrying a huge bag and pushing a stroller. The woman seemed nervous, agitated, as if trying to hide something.
“Zora, check.” — ordered the officer, and the dog rushed toward the woman and her stroller.

The woman, panicked, pushed the stroller away, her voice trembling:
“Get your dog away from my son! She’s scaring him!”
“This is a routine inspection, ma’am. Where are you coming from?”
“Germany. Direct flight.” — she replied too quickly.
The woman tried to leave, but the officer stepped forward:
“Ma’am, I need to make sure the child is okay.”
“This is outrageous! You’re questioning a single mother because of a dog?!”
“Zora, back off.” — ordered the officer.

For the first time in her career, Zora did not obey. She growled, then suddenly barked loudly.
The officer approached the stroller. The woman didn’t move, but her lips trembled. He lifted the blanket. And froze at what he saw…
Underneath — a real child. Pale face, purplish lips, labored breathing. But beneath the pillow…
The officer gently lifted it. Wrapped in layers of cloth, carefully surrounded by aluminum foil and rags, was a metal cylinder with Arabic inscriptions. With a small red light blinking faintly.
“B-om-b…” — he whispered. — Damn…
At the same moment, the woman stiffened, as if completely unmasked. She didn’t cry or scream. She just murmured:
“I didn’t want to… I was forced… it’s my son… they told me: otherwise he would die…”
Security services reacted instantly. The terminal was evacuated, the bomb was defused. The woman was arrested.
But that was not the end of the story.

Two weeks later, the radio announced: in another terminal, on another continent, another woman with a baby stroller was arrested. She too was acting against her will. Zora had a new important role to play.
