Our dog jumped and knocked over our son’s plate  The food ended up scattered on the floor.

I thought everything was finally okay. After a tough period, I had found someone to look after my son, someone I thought I could trust.

But what I didn’t know was that she had her own intentions…

One afternoon, as I was coming home from work, I had left my wife to take care of other tasks, and this person, who was supposed to watch over him, was preparing lunch for my son. Everything seemed normal. My son was sitting in his high chair, waiting for his first bite.

I was approaching to help him when suddenly, our German Shepherd, usually so calm, started growling and blocking the way.

He leaped with unexpected speed and violence, knocking over the plate the woman had just placed on the table. The food was scattered on the floor.

At first, I thought he wanted to eat it, but no… After knocking over the plate, he calmed down 

My heart was racing: had my dog lost his mind? But watching his behavior, I realized he wasn’t trying to attack, but protect. He gently pushed the spoon away and stared at the food with insistence, as if warning me of an invisible danger.

When I finally looked at what was in the plate… the shock was immense
