Court documents reveal that the messages contained details about retrieving a rifle, changing clothes to avoid detection, and other actions taken before the incident. Despite this, Robinson’s grandmother strongly denies his involvement, describing him as a quiet young man with no history of violence or interest in firearms. Authorities later confirmed the recovery of a distinctive rifle and other physical evidence, such as footwear and palm prints.

Governor Spencer Cox stated that unusual engravings were found on ammunition, referencing internet culture, memes, and video games. Experts are still analyzing their meaning and whether they relate to a possible motive. Robinson’s father reportedly recognized him in surveillance images released by the FBI. After confronting his son, Robinson admitted involvement but initially resisted surrendering. His father, along with a trusted family pastor, contacted authorities, leading to Robinson’s safe arrest by U.S. Marshals.
