During the wedding, the dog suddenly bit the bride’s hand: when the groom understood why the dog did it, he canceled the wedding

During the wedding, the dog suddenly bit the bride’s hand: when the groom understood why the dog did it, he canceled the wedding 😱😱

That day was supposed to be perfect: flowers, music, guests in elegant suits, and the bride’s sparkling white dress. The groom looked happy, beside him his loyal dog Roy, whom he had trained to accompany him everywhere. Roy was a calm, gentle dog, a true friend whom the man even considered a family member.

But the bride clearly did not like Roy. She grimaced when the dog came close, complained that he “smelled like dog,” and demanded he be removed. The groom tried to smooth things over, saying Roy wouldn’t ruin the celebration, but the bride was firm.

During the ceremony, the bride behaved more and more provocatively: she shouted at the groom’s mother, rudely mocked a guest’s gift, and then started drinking champagne excessively. The groom felt embarrassed by her behavior but tried to hold back — after all, it was a special day.

But soon something unexpected happened 😲 The dog suddenly bit the bride’s hand, though he had always been calm and affectionate. The bride started screaming, grabbed a bottle to hit the dog, but the groom intervened. When he understood why the dog bit her, he simply canceled the wedding. Continued in the first comment 👇👇

The climax came when Roy was standing calmly next to his owner. The bride approached the dog and, looking the groom straight in the eyes, deliberately stepped on Roy’s tail. The dog yelped and bit the bride’s hand in self-defense. Everyone froze.

The bride screamed in pain, grabbed a bottle from the table, and prepared to hit the dog.

“Don’t touch my dog, you provoked him yourself!” the groom said sharply.

“I stepped on his tail by accident!” the bride shouted, her face twisted with anger.

“By accident?” the groom looked her straight in the eyes. “Did you also want to hit him with the bottle by accident?”

The bride was stunned and tried to justify herself:

“I didn’t know what I was doing, my hand hurt. It was all shock.”

The groom crouched next to Roy, who was trembling and laying his ears back.

“What shock?” he said coldly. “Do you always hit those who are weaker than you?”

The bride stood holding her injured hand but found no words.

The groom stood up and said in a steady voice:

“There will be no wedding.”

He hugged Roy tightly, who licked his hand as if thanking him for the protection, while the guests, still shocked, just looked at each other.

What do you think — did the groom do the right thing?
