In the locker room, the soldiers began to laugh and mock the new girl, but as soon as they stepped into the training hall, they realized with horror who she really was
That day, the locker room was noisy as usual. Metal lockers slammed, someone laughed, the guys loudly discussed the training. Everything was going as usual until she appeared in the doorway.
The new female soldier.
She walked in calmly, without unnecessary movements, as if she didn’t care who was looking at her. She wore a standard military uniform, nothing special. Her hair was neatly tied back, her face calm, without emotion. She didn’t look around or try to talk to anyone. She simply walked over to the bench, set down her bag, and began to change.
But her presence did not go unnoticed.
At first, someone chuckled quietly. Then another. Within seconds, several guys were openly staring at her, exchanging looks and smirking. One of them couldn’t hold back and stepped closer.
— Oh, did you get lost? — he said mockingly.
— What is a beauty like you doing here?
Another immediately added:
— Aren’t you scared, being alone among us? This isn’t a place for someone like you…
The third stepped almost right up to her, looking her over from head to toe.
— We haven’t had girls here in a long time. We’ve missed it.
They laughed, interrupted each other, made stupid and unpleasant jokes. Someone even reached out to touch her hair.
— It’ll be a shame when they shave it all off…
But the girl didn’t react.
She just sat calmly, tying her boot laces, adjusting her uniform, as if she hadn’t heard a single word. No fear, no irritation — just cold calmness.
That only made them more irritated.
When she finished and stood up to leave, three of the soldiers stepped forward and blocked her path. The locker room grew quieter. The others watched with interest.
— Where are you rushing off to? — one asked with a smirk.
— Are you scared of us?
Another leaned in a little closer:
— If you’re already afraid of us, what are you going to do next?
She lifted her head and, for the first time, looked straight into their eyes. There wasn’t a trace of doubt in her gaze.
— Step aside and let me pass, — she said calmly, but with a tone that seemed to make the air heavier. — Otherwise, you’ll regret it very much.
The guys looked at each other and burst out laughing.
— And what are you going to do to us?
She tilted her head slightly and replied quietly:
— You’ll find out soon.
They eventually stepped aside, more out of curiosity than fear. They thought she was just a quiet, weak girl trying to seem brave. None of them even considered that something else could be hiding behind that calmness, and that very soon they would regret everything. A few minutes later, everyone was already standing in the training hall. A spacious room, cold lighting, the sound of footsteps on the floor, and short commands. Everything as usual.
The guys talked among themselves, occasionally glancing at the newcomer and continuing to smirk.
But then the commander entered the hall. The conversations stopped immediately.
He stood in front of the formation, looked at everyone, and briefly said:
— Attention. Today you have a new captain.
A slight murmur ran through the room. The commander stepped aside.
— Meet her.
And at that moment, she stepped forward. The very same girl from the locker room.
For a second, silence filled the hall. The guys stared at her, not understanding what was happening. The smiles disappeared. Some frowned, others lowered their eyes.
She slowly looked over all of them — the same ones who had been laughing just minutes before.
A faint, almost imperceptible smile appeared on her face.
— Well, — she said calmly, taking a step forward. — Now you’ve seen what I’m capable of.
No one answered.
She walked along the line, stopping in front of each of them as if memorizing their faces.
— From this moment on, I will be training you, — she continued in a firmer tone. — And believe me, very soon you yourselves will be asking me to stop.
She stopped and looked directly at the three who had blocked her path in the locker room.
— But I won’t stop.
The hall fell silent again. And only then did they begin to understand who they were dealing with. But it was already too late.
