I am 78 years old and I use this oil every morning: it helps me feel more energetic.

At 78, getting up each morning had become a chore. My legs felt stiff, my hands clumsy, and even my stomach seemed to protest every meal. I slept enough, but I woke up feeling utterly exhausted, as if the night had been for nothing.

The bloating, heartburn, and that heavy feeling after eating also arrived…

And worst of all, that silent feeling of fading away from the inside out.

For a while, I thought it was normal, just part of getting older. I kept telling myself things like:

“You’re over 70 now… that’s life.”

Without realizing it, I started giving up so many things: walks, books, visits with friends.

Until one day I’d had enough.

I decided I didn’t want to reach 80 feeling old before my time.

A Conversation That Changed My Perspective

After several consultations, endless prescriptions, and bottles of pills that didn’t solve anything, I began to think differently. One afternoon, having coffee with my daughter, I heard something simple yet powerful:

“What if, instead of looking for another medicine, you tried going back to nature?”

That comment stuck with me.

I started researching, reading, asking questions, and trying different natural oils. Some had no effect on me, others made me feel unwell… but I kept trying until I found one that was different.

I didn’t feel an immediate miracle, but I did feel something very valuable: lightness, inner calm, relief.

For the first time, my body seemed to be telling me:

“This really helps.”

The Oil That Changed My Routine

After trying several options, the only one that earned a daily place in my life was cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.

Why this one?

It preserves natural antioxidants.

It contains heart-healthy fats.

It has polyphenols that help combat cellular aging.

It has been used for centuries in long-lived cultures.

From ancient Greece to regions of Europe where people live past 90 and 100, this oil is part of daily life. It’s not a fad, it’s not a modern invention: it has history and proven benefits.

My way of taking it every morning: I incorporated it as a very simple ritual:

One tablespoon daily

On an empty stomach

Always extra virgin and cold-pressed

Sometimes I have it with half a glass of warm water and a few drops of lemon.

I don’t heat it, I don’t use it for frying, and I don’t exceed the recommended amount.
Just one tablespoon every morning.

The first few days were difficult. I thought it would be unpleasant, but if the oil is of good quality, its flavor is mild and even fruity.

The most important thing is that my body tolerated it well.

The Changes I Started to Notice

The results appeared slowly but steadily:

More energy

Not a jittery energy like from coffee, but a calm, steady strength that makes the day feel lighter.

Better digestion

Bloating decreased, my stomach felt lighter, and my bowel movements became more regular. Something simple, but invaluable at any age.

Less joint pain

Mornings were no longer painful. My knees responded better, my fingers were less stiff, and I could climb stairs again without support.

Deeper sleep
I slept better, woke up feeling truly rested, and my mood improved. I felt more optimistic, less irritable, and eager to move around.

Mental clarity

The fog gradually lifted. I retained information better, concentrated more easily, and rediscovered the joy of reading. This clarity brought back my inspiration and even encouraged me to write letters to my grandchildren.

A few tips for doing it right

The oil works best when chosen carefully and consumed in moderation.

It should be extra virgin and cold-pressed.

You don’t need large quantities.

One tablespoon a day is enough.

Everyone reacts differently.

If you have digestive, liver, or gallbladder problems, it’s best to consult a doctor first.

I tried doubling the dose, and it wasn’t a good idea. Excess can cause discomfort.
This habit isn’t about overdoing it, but about consistency.

A simple gesture that gave me back my vitality.

After a week, I could already feel the difference. As the days went by, my spirits returned, my steps became lighter, and my mind clearer.

I didn’t physically rejuvenate.

I still have wrinkles, gray hair, and slow days.

But I recovered something more valuable: my inner spark, the feeling that I still have strength, desire, and life ahead of me.

This oil didn’t take years off my appearance;
it gave me back my enthusiasm.

A heartfelt invitation

If you’re up for it, try it for a week.

Observe how you sleep, how you wake up, how your body reacts.

It’s not magic, it’s an act of self-love.

A daily intention:

to take care of yourself from within.

If you feel any change, however small, it will be a sign that your body appreciates this gesture.

Because it’s not about living longer,
but about living better the time we have.
