I found these strange black balls in my garden — for a long time, I had no idea what they were My neighbor, who had dealt with this issue before, explained to me what they actually were
Honestly, I was horrified. I just collected those black balls and burned them

Ticks — tiny creatures, but with villain-level ambitions. They feed on blood, carry diseases, and don’t care whether it’s a dog, a human, or a passing raccoon.
Last summer, I had to deal with them myself — all because of my dog. Every time we went to the park, she came back with uninvited ticks.
Removing ticks is not for the faint of heart. Armed with a fine-tipped tweezer and a brave friend, I got to work.
One tick, two ticks… I swear one of them stared at me defiantly. The main rule: don’t panic. Grab the tick as close to the skin as possible, pull upward steadily, and don’t forget to disinfect the bite site.
Honestly, after the first time, I almost felt like a pro. Of course, it’s always best to see a specialist right away.
But one day I got a new surprise — tick eggs in the garden. Tiny reddish-brown balls clustered together.
I put on gloves, grabbed a jar of alcohol, and started getting rid of them. Each ball is a potential bloodsucker. I must admit, it was a bit creepy.
Since then, I’ve changed how I interact with nature. The lawn stays neatly trimmed, bushes are well-maintained, and the dog gets checked after every walk.
Repellents are now my constant companions on hikes and picnics. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, don’t let these tiny parasites ruin your summer.
