To teach his arrogant son a lesson, a millionaire stripped him of his inheritance and forced him to marry a simple dairymaid from a village. But three months later, when the father came to visit them, he saw something that left him completely shocked

The son lounged in an armchair, never taking his eyes off his phone. An expensive suit, a luxury watch, the scent of elite perfume.
— Come on, Dad. I’m your son. You’ve always solved everything.
The father slowly stepped closer.
— Exactly. I’ve always solved everything. But now it’s enough. Either you change, or I take everything away from you.
The son smirked.
— You’re threatening me again.
— No, — the father replied calmly. — I’m setting a condition. You will marry a completely ordinary girl. No money. No connections. From the countryside. No models, no socialites. Otherwise, you are no longer my heir.
The son’s laughter stopped abruptly.
— Are you serious?
— Yes. And if you think this is temporary, you’re mistaken.
A week later, the son was left with nothing. Cards blocked. The car taken away. Suits, watches, phone — everything disappeared. He was taken to a village and introduced to a girl, a simple dairymaid. Modest, without makeup, in a plain dress. The father was sure the son would run away after a few days — humiliated and furious, begging for everything to be returned.

Three months passed.
The father went to the village himself to put an end to it. He expected to see his son broken — dirty, miserable, filled with anger.
But he saw something entirely different.
His son stood in the yard in simple clothes, covered in mud up to his elbows, and… laughing. Beside him was his wife. That same “ugly village girl.”
She was holding a bucket of feed, and the son was helping her feed the pigs. Without disgust. Without revulsion.
When the son noticed his father, he wasn’t embarrassed. He didn’t ask for money. He didn’t talk about returning.
He simply said:
— Dad, meet my wife. We’re expecting a baby.
The father froze.
Standing before him was no longer the spoiled boy who hated the smell of animals and despised the countryside. Standing before him was a grown man. Calm. Happy.
— I don’t want my old life anymore, — the son added quietly. — Here, for the first time, I’m truly living.
And in that moment, the father realized: he wanted to punish his son… but instead, by accident, he gave him happiness.
