My daughter and the neighbor’s daughter look so much alike that it made me doubt!  At first, I thought my husband was cheating on me,  but the reality turned out to be much more surprising than I imagined!

My daughter, Emma, and the neighbor’s daughter, Lili, resemble each other so much that I started to have questions. The same eyes, the same nose, the curly hair…

The only difference was that Lili was considerably smaller than Emma. This sparked doubts in me, particularly about my husband, Jack. I wondered if he was hiding something from me, but I tried to stay rational.

However, the more I compared the two girls, the more questions appeared.

Jack seemed to avoid talking about the neighbors. Every time I brought up the subject, he would change the conversation or stay silent. He acted as if he had a secret.

One day, seeing Jack and Lili spending time together, I had the impression that they were a real family, which disturbed me. I couldn’t take the uncertainty anymore and asked him, “Is Lili your daughter?”

He reacted with surprise and denied it, but his face turned red and he didn’t give me a clear answer. This only fueled my concerns. I insisted, and he became more and more evasive with my questions.
