Doctors had warned this woman, who is only 71 centimeters tall, about the risks of pregnancy, including the possibility that her children might inherit her disease or  that the pregnancy could have fatal consequences . Despite these warnings, she gave birth to three children . Unfortunately, two of them inherited the same disease as their mother . Here’s what the children of this extraordinary couple look like today   

Stacey Herald was born with a rare disease called osteogenesis imperfecta and had to overcome many challenges.

At only 71 centimeters tall, she spent much of her life in a wheelchair.

In 2000, Stacey met Will Herald, a man who was 1 meter taller and 9 years younger, and who later became her husband. They met in a supermarket in the town of Dry Ridge, where they both worked.

Will, seeing in Stacey much more than her appearance, was fascinated by her inner strength. Four years after meeting, they married.

At first, doctors told them they couldn’t start a family, believing that Stacey would be unable to carry a child. These words deeply affected her.

Stacey set a unique record by becoming the shortest woman to have three children, earning a place in the Guinness World Records.

Unfortunately, Stacey Herald passed away in 2022 at the age of 44.
