People are impressed when a 245 kg man steps on stage to sing, but it is his commanding voice that certainly grabs attention.

Freddie Combs, a famous contestant from the second season of “The X Factor” in the United States, passed away at the age of 49.

He was known for his remarkable voice and strength in facing life’s challenges, managing to captivate the audience during his appearance on the show under Simon Cowell’s guidance.

His wife, Kay Combs, announced his passing on September 10, after renal failure, in a Florida hospital.

A preacher by profession, Freddie faced numerous health struggles throughout his life. In 2009, he weighed 417 kg, but with remarkable determination, he managed to lose weight, reaching 245 kg.

Before appearing on “X Factor,” he had also participated in the show “Ton of Love” on TLC in 2010.

Though he was eliminated fairly early in the competition, his performance remains etched in memories.

Kay, his partner for 25 years, expressed her gratitude for sharing her life with him.
