Rather than throwing away his old gas stove, my neighbor decided to transform it into a practical and unique object for his garden.  After finishing his project, I was inspired to create something similar.  Here’s what he made  You can check out the result by following the link in the comments .

Here’s the process, step by step:

Dismantling the stove: Carefully dismantle the stove by removing all the screws and bolts. Break the metal pieces separating the oven from the cooktop. These pieces can be repurposed for other projects, like shelves or frames.

Creating an outdoor oven: Clean the inside of the oven and place firewood in it. Light a fire and close the door to trap the heat, creating a fireplace atmosphere.

The finishing touch: Add a metal grate on top of the stove to create an outdoor cooking surface. This way, you can prepare meals outdoors, such as grilled dishes, roasted vegetables, or even boil water in a kettle that will take on a unique flavor.

Decoration: Paint the stove with heat-resistant paint to give it a more modern look. Classic black or aged bronze will add a lovely touch.

Adding shelves and hooks: For more practicality, you can install shelves or hooks on the sides of the stove. This will help organize the space and make it easier to use.

Smoker: The old oven can also be transformed into a great smoker. Just add wood chips to smoke your dishes and close the door to give them a unique flavor.

This method of recycling old objects fits into a sustainable consumption approach, allowing you not only to save money but also to add a unique touch to your garden.
