My grandmother passed away, and the only thing she left me in her will was an old couch. My father was furious and said, “She took all her wealth to the grave! You are her only grandson!” But I respected her wishes.

Grandmother often read fairy tales to me on that couch, and I would listen, captivated, holding a cup of tea. I loved spending time with her—she understood me like no one else…

His father’s apartment was in complete disarray, littered with empty bottles and dirty laundry. Kirill lacked proper care and survived on processed food, even though she had been sending money for his well-being.

Faced with this situation, Lydia had tried to make her son-in-law see reason, but he dismissed everything, blaming others. The difficult decision she had made was to remove Kirill from this toxic environment and entrust him to Denisa and Mikhail, a couple willing to give him a stable life.
