One day, I was at my grandmother’s house, suddenly, we heard a noise.   After searching for a long time, we figured out where the noise was coming from,   and when we moved the cupboard, we were all shocked. Here’s what was there.   

Christopher Towne had agreed to help a friend rearrange the furniture. While moving the furniture, they discovered a trapdoor hidden behind a cupboard, leading to a secret passage.

Without consulting his friend, Christopher decided to explore the passage and accidentally fell into a hidden well beneath the floor. His friend, noticing his absence, rushed to find him and discovered him in the water at the bottom of the well.

Using a rope he had found nearby, he managed to pull Christopher out of the well. Once they had regained their composure, they called for help, and after a thorough inspection, it turned out that the cabin was over 150 years old.

Historical research revealed that the well, once located outside the building, had been roughly covered with planks when the house was expanded.
