A retired woman transformed this small caravan into a luxury home: After her retirement, this woman lives in a small, compact caravan, which contains everything she needs for her daily life.
She turned it into a little luxury, and the photos and video can be found in the comments
. This place has become her sanctuary, a space where she embraces simplicity and autonomy.
In May 2014, Sharon, a travel enthusiast, decided to change her life. She bought a 2015 T@B M@x S Teardrop caravan and adopted a nomadic lifestyle, now living in her caravan while towing her 4-door Jeep Wrangler.
Sharon describes her caravan as a “large camping car in the shape of a teardrop.” It is 1.75 meters high, which is perfect for her height of 1.63 meters. The trailer weighs about 760 kg, and Sharon carefully planned this transition to a nomadic lifestyle.
Then, she participated in a gathering for nomadic travelers in January 2012, taking the time to reflect on which type of vehicle would best suit her needs. Having already owned four RVs, she considered opting for a larger model or a van, but ultimately decided to keep her Jeep, which limited her trailer options.
Elegantly, her Jeep is capable of towing the caravan with no issues, which pleasantly surprised her. The interior of the trailer is both practical and functional. Sharon finds a bathroom and a shower, which she uses comfortably.
The caravan offers two power options: either connecting to the electrical grid or using 135-watt solar panels. Although the kitchen is equipped with a two-burner stove, Sharon prefers cooking outside to enjoy the fresh air and avoid odors in the living space.
A large awning and multiple windows ensure excellent air circulation and natural light. To stay warm on cool evenings, Sharon uses a propane heater or a small heater, while hot days are cooled by an air conditioner. The windows and screened doors protect her from insects.
Despite its compact size, the caravan is well-equipped with a refrigerator, a CD and DVD player, as well as a flat-screen TV for watching her favorite shows. For sleeping, Sharon uses a sofa bed, which she keeps permanently unfolded to avoid having to fold it up every day.
Sharon’s greatest satisfaction lies in the new friendships she forms throughout her travels. Although she often lived in places where interactions with neighbors were limited, her nomadic life now allows her to fully enjoy the company of others.
