A woman questions the cause of her chronic fatigue – she then decides to install a camera and discovers her cat’s bizarre behavior during the night.

When we think of a pet, we often imagine a dog, the affectionate animal always seeking attention. However, the story of one pet owner shows that a cat can also disrupt her sleep in unexpected ways.

Suzy Allan shared 16 years of her life with her cat Ginger. They developed a very special relationship. “He loves attention and spends most of his days with me when I work from home,” she told The Dodo. “He loves to cuddle at any time, whether it’s day or night.”

At night, Ginger sleeps on Suzy’s bed and demands cuddles by tapping her hand, but Suzy wasn’t aware of how often this happened.

Frustrated by her ongoing fatigue, Suzy decided to install a night vision camera to find out what was going on. What she discovered surprised her.

“I wanted to see how often this happened every night, and I was stunned to realize it had been going on for so long,” Suzy said. “It was fascinating to watch him meowing and insisting on cuddling.”

Every night, Ginger would tap her hand until she embraced him, then he would sleep for a couple of hours before getting up to do his nighttime business, and then start the cycle again.

Suzy posted a funny video of her cat on TikTok, which quickly went viral. Many people gave her advice on how to manage her nighttime cat, such as locking Ginger in a room. However, Ginger, clever as he is, knows how to open doors.

In any case, Suzy doesn’t complain about being woken up by her affectionate cat. On the contrary, she is happy to have him by her side to keep her warm.

“I love this little orange cat, and I’m happy when he wants to cuddle,” she said. “Maybe I would sleep better with these cat cuddles.”

For her, life seems much better with a cuddly cat, and she never tires of his adorable company.
