This woman weighed over 200 kilograms and ate nonstop.

Tatiana Santiago had never felt slim, but for a long time her weight remained within a normal range.

In 2020, her life was turned upside down. The loss of her child was an immense shock, and she began eating to soothe her grief.

By the end of the year, her weight had exceeded 200 kg, and she found herself trapped in a vicious cycle of stress, snacking, and inactivity.

One morning, standing in front of the mirror, she no longer recognized herself. That was when she decided to take her life back into her own hands.

First, she committed to movement: long walks at first, then regular swimming sessions. Little by little, she learned to embrace physical effort, and her body responded positively.

Next, she eliminated all processed foods and high‑carbohydrate items from her diet.

The results came quickly: by January 2023, Tatiana had lost nearly 100 kg. But a new challenge awaited her: she was diagnosed with fatty liver disease.

Aware that her body required a radical solution, she agreed to undergo gastric bypass surgery.

After the operation, she maintained her healthy lifestyle and now practiced six workout sessions per week.

When she first returned home, her family didn’t recognize her. Today, Tatiana weighs 75 kg. She looks at herself in the mirror with pride and has finally learned to love herself.
