I heard strange noises coming from the closed cabin above my head in the plane, and when I opened it, I was shocked.😯

When you board a plane, there’s always that mix of excitement and familiarity: the purring of the engines, the announcements over the loudspeaker, the dry air in the cabin.

A feeling of vastness overwhelms us, suspending us thousands of feet above the ground. The gestures of the flight attendants, the bustle of the passengers, and that constant sensation of floating take us to an almost surreal world, like a routine shared by everyone.

That day, the flight seemed perfectly ordinary. Settling comfortably, I was about to close my eyes, letting this familiar routine take over. Phone off, seatbelt fastened, a book in hand to pass the time before takeoff.

The flight progressed peacefully, and the majority of the passengers were immersed in their own world, some already asleep.

Then I heard a strange noise. At first faint, then growing more persistent. A sort of rubbing sound, followed by light thuds, coming from the cabin directly above my head. The agitation eventually disturbed the general calm, the sound becoming louder and louder, filling the space like an inexplicable presence.

Curious, and a little disturbed, I couldn’t help but get up. I opened the door of the cabin, not really knowing what awaited me behind it… What I discovered sent a chill down my spine.😯

When I opened the door, an absurd and chilling scene awaited me. Inside the cabin, a metal crib, all made of metal and canvas, was placed in a corner, as if it were part of the plane’s decor.

Inside, a baby, alone, wrapped in a wool blanket, seemed peaceful, eyes closed, completely unaware of the surrounding chaos. His little clenched fists were holding an old wooden toy.

I froze, my thoughts racing. How could a baby end up here, without anyone to watch over him? A shiver of horror ran through me.

The noise I had heard probably came from him, but how did he get here? No one around me seemed worried. I rushed to the cabin to alert the crew, but a flight attendant arrived just in time.

She took the baby in her arms, clutching him to her with strange urgency. “It’s not what you think,” she whispered to me, almost panicked. But before I could react, she closed the door behind her, leaving me in a state of total confusion.
