Today, the young entrepreneur had finished work early and decided to go home early to spend the remaining time with his family. But when he arrived, the sight shocked him deeply.

In his enormous mansion, located right in the city center, luxury and order prevailed. He was only thirty years old and had managed to grow a technology company into a multimillion-dollar success.

His business earned him income even in his sleep, but what he valued most was his family — his wife, with whom he had been married for three years.

Today he finished work earlier than usual and decided to go home to surprise his wife and mother. He bought flowers at a store and hurried home.

However, when he entered, he felt that something was wrong. The entire living room was in disarray, and no one was there. Suddenly, noise and screams came from one of the rooms. He rushed over to understand what was happening. 

Opening the door, he saw his wife fighting with his disabled mother. The argument had escalated so much that his wife had thrown his mother to the floor. The millionaire froze in place, and what he did next shocked everyone.

Leonard stood in the doorway, his heart trembling and beating with anxiety. His mother lay on the floor, trying to defend herself, while Alessandra, full of rage, was ready to strike again.

But in that moment, something inside him changed — anger mixed with horror and confusion.

He took a step forward, and his voice sounded unexpectedly calm:
— Alessandra… what are you doing?

The woman stopped abruptly, her eyes wide open, lips trembling. Leonard turned, helped his mother to her feet, hugged her, feeling the tremor gradually pass. He noticed a strange expression on Alessandra’s face — a mixture of fear and guilt.

— I… I didn’t mean… — she whispered, but her words sounded empty.

Suddenly, a courier entered the room with a package. Leonard opened it and discovered a video recording that his mother had prepared for such situations.

On the screen, it showed Alessandra secretly planning a dark scheme for an entire month — trying to force his mother to sign real estate documents and withdraw money from the company.

Leonard felt the foundations of his world crumble. He took a deep breath and, without saying a word, approached Alessandra. Their eyes met, and at that moment she realized: now all decisions were in his hands.

He divorced his wife and realized a simple truth… that all along she had not loved him, but his money.
