The girls’ lives were saved by an international team of surgeons led by Professor Noor Jeelani — a British neurosurgeon already known for his unique procedures.

On July 19, at the Bilkent City Hospital in Ankara, doctors accepted a challenge that few would have dared to face.

“They are making remarkable progress. It is truly a miracle,” shared Jeelani. According to him, two months after the surgery, the girls are preparing to return home to Pakistan.

The doctors’ main weapon was Mixed Reality technology, which allows 3D models to be combined with real space.

With its help, specialists created an exact digital copy of the girls’ heads and rehearsed all stages of the surgery before even picking up a scalpel.

This approach not only saved the twins’ lives but also opens new horizons for global medicine.

“The technologies we apply in such complex cases make more routine operations safer and more effective,” the professor notes.

The story of Minal and Mirha is not just a victory for surgeons. It is a symbol of hope, proof that even the most incredible obstacles can be overcome.
